As I am midway through the first few weeks as your Superintendent of Schools, I thought I would  take this opportunity to formally introduce myself. Having served as superintendent in three previous school districts,   I consider it an absolute honor to be entrusted with the responsibility for educating the children of a community.  Pomfret has a long history of expecting, and supporting, a strong school system and I am privileged to be joining it, not only as an educator, but also as a community member. 

In order for me to serve the needs of our school community effectively, I will need to  learn about our culture, values, operations, and so much more, some of which as quickly as possible.   To that end, I have developed an entry plan to guide me  in that endeavor.   An important part of that plan is to meet as many members of the community as I can over the next several months. To help facilitate this,  I am scheduling  a few meet and greet opportunities for us over the next month to informally get together so that you can learn a little about me and I can learn more about us.   When I have those days and times confirmed, I will share them with you.
