The eight area high schools that traditionally draw students from Pomfret visited PCS Tuesday night during grades seven and eight open house for our Second Annual High School Fair. All the families were invited to attend the Fair to find out more about the schools, learn about admission and application processes, and ask questions of representatives from each of the schools.
The schools that were hosted included: Woodstock Academy, Ellis Tech, Killingly Vocational-Agricultural Center (Vo-Ag), Arts at the Capitol Theater (ACT), Quinebaug Middle College (QMC), Pomfret School, Marianapolis Preparatory School, and Putnam Science Academy (PSA).
As a reminder, Woodstock Academy, Putnam High School and Killingly High School are the designated high school for all Pomfret students. Should your family be exploring other high school options, all of the other schools require an application process, tests may be required and visits might need to be planned. If you were not able to attend the High School Fair and still want more information, keep an eye out in the local media for Open House events throughout the fall.
