Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders should:

  • visit pomcom.org to practice their skills in any of the educational games on the website.
  • type up a list of things that you are doing at home while school is closed in Microsoft Word or another text editor.
  • draw a picture in Microsoft Paint of what you are doing at home or what you would do if you were at school right now.
  • watch a story at Storyline Online. Storyline Online is experiencing some issues, possibly due to traffic, but give it a try and hope for the best!

3rd through 8th grade should:

Login to typing.com and practice typing 15 minutes every school day to increase their speed and accuracy.

Remember that your username is 'pcs' + the first three letters of your first name + the first three letters of your last name. For example; Billybob Creamcheese's username would be 'pcsbilcre'.  Your password is a color and two digit number. For example; 'black20'.  There are NO spaces in the username or password.  Also check to make sure your CAPS LOCK key is not on.

You can e-mail me if you have forgotten your password.

Senora Werstler's 7th grade should:

Fill out the webCritique google form FOUR times.  Each time with a different website.  A few of you have submitted your first and had some nice insights.  Remember that you should be specific in your writing.  Type 'the pictures are too dark and pixelly' instead of 'the pictures'.  Be thinking about what you'd like your webpage to look like and be about as we will be on the short side for time when we get back to school.

Mrs. Zdanys' 8th grade should:

Fill out the appCritique google form FOUR times. Each time with a different app.  A few of you have submitted your first and made some interesting observations.  Remember that your writing should be specific.  Type 'the controls to jump were awkward to reach on the keyboard' instead of ' the controls'.  I know we will be short on time when school reconvenes, however, we should be able to cook up some fine apps!
